Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo has said that he was aware of the late President Musa Yar’Adua’s health challenges before supporting him to emerge PDP flagbearer in 2007.
“I set up a committee to search for a successor. Umaru was top on the list.
"Their biggest argument in his favour was that he had integrity and would not steal,” Obasanjo said.
